It still looks great for any occasion, in smart blouses, tees, or crispy button down shirts, paired with denim, and bold lips. To this day this remains the classic can’t go wrong with the look. These bold, graphic versions of stripes can run the gamut from color blocked to an amalgam of hues pitted against one another racing in opposite directions.

Stripes can also design inclination for layering stripe pieces in an outfit is to do so with complimentary colors. If your style is ladylike more than anything else, you shouldn’t avoid stripes this spring. Instead, you could easily turn their graphic quality into a bold accent by pairing stripes with ultra-feminine silhouettes. Think of summer dresses, flowy fabrics, delicate cuts and colors that are truly able to complement your refined aesthetic.

Today, stripes have earned their place as something far more solid than a wardrobe ‘must-have’: they are considered to be a foundation piece defying trend, age brackets, and style.
